Today we talked about the change of seasons. We are learning about photosynthesis, which is the process that plants use to make food. I am posting the video that we watched in class today. We also brainstormed to create a list of "fall" words and created Leaf/October poems. We talked about how poets use words to paint pictures. We will finish these this week. In math, we continued to work on problem solving. We learned about PEMDAS, or the Order of Operations. We are focusing on building equations to create a "Master Plan" before solving.
Tonight...
rework last night's Antarctic Journal homework. Just three kids will do an alternate assignment.These three do NOT need to rewrite last night's hw. Z,N, and A: pick your poison. You can to Text to Text, Text to Self or Text to World.

do the hwandp for lesson 2.12. We will take the Chapter 2 test on Thursday.
Kids are welcome to bring in some leaves. Please don't bring wet leaves!
