The West

The buffalo still roam in Yellowstone National Park!

What is a geyser? Why is this one called "Old Faithful?"

Giant Redwood trees are old! How old? Find out!

An offshore breeze creates the perfect conditions for this surfer.

The Grand Canyon is ever changing. What's that river doing at the bottom of the canyon? I know, I know, technically, Arizona is in the Southwest, not the West. It is still west of Chicago!

Walking or biking across the Golden Gate Bride is a "must do." Bring your sweater and remember the old saying, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

Hurray for.....

Delicate Arch in Arches National Park, Moab, Utah. The hike is worth the effort. Trust me on this one!

A volcano? Where in the wild west could this be?

Use the links to help you create your West region fan book. Can you guess why this is one of my favorite regions to explore? Start with the links that I have provided.
