Field Trip Friday

What a day!! The Guinea Pigs may be loud, but they sure are active and curious! Today's participation at the American Writers Museum was great. The museum has asked us to share some of our poetry. They'd like to publish it on their website. We will work on this next week.

Since we had a bit of extra time today, and since we had two awesome parent helpers, we decided to walk down the Cultural Mile and visit The Bean. CBS News was on location and took some shots of Team 201/The Guinea Pigs in action. Check out the CBS 5 o'clock news this evening!

This weekend at home...

• read The Fun They Had in Journeys
• finish the Chapter 10 Review. We will be ready to test on Tuesday. Please try every problem and circle the problems that are "trouble spots." We will meet in small groups to review on Monday.
• Don't forget to show someone the new Field Trip form. We travel to the Garfield Park Conservatory on May 10. We will need two to three parent volunteers.
• Kids, you have a study guide. We will definitely take a reading test next Friday. 

As always, IXL Math and Reading, along with ST Math, are great ways to brush up on skills pre-MAPS test.
