- took the PARCC test
- had a brain break and a snack
- worked on a Mystery Science lesson. We turned out the lights so that we could simulate the mood phases. We used flashlights, foam spheres, and skewers.
- worked on some math- Multiplying Whole Numbers and fractions. The trickiest part of this lesson is actually the Chapter 7 skill: converting improper fractions into a mixed number and simplifying. Most kids need some support here. We are working on it!
- went to lunch and recess
- created a "phases of the moon" flip book.
This evening at home...
- read!
- complete the Go Math homework
- work on your Book Buffet project
- finish coloring and labeling the Phases flip book. If you are able to make the book at home, great! If not, we can do this in class tomorrow!
