Today we began an exciting new math project: Geometrocity! Student architects will use their math skills to design and create a city. Right now, we are in the permit stage. Tomorrow, we move on to Phase 2:Design.
Tomorrow we will pay a visit to your future home, Pod 320. We will tour the pod and later in the week, we will have a Q and A session with a panel of 5th grade students.
This evening at home...
- Make sure that you are finished with Phase I of the Geometricity. Don't forget to bring it to school. If you leave the packet at home, you will need to start over and you won't move on the Phase II.
- Read and get confirmation
- Finish the Social Studies classwork, if you did not get to it in class.
- Take out that binder! Each child should have a folder each day, but not binders!
