It was a busy day, and today's post will be quick!
This evening at home....
- make sure that the back page of 1.1 in Go Math is finished.
- complete the front and back of Go Math Homework and Practice
- Use the Lion and Mouse fable packet from today. Find the "Help" poem activity and write your own "help poem." Use the template and sample to help you. LOL! Write the poem in the notebook you used to write last night.
Today we...
- took a timed multiplication test. Most kids are ready to move on the the 3s. We will give you the results tomorrow.
- read the Lion and the Mouse and had some small group discussions
- went to Gym
- talked about the Scientific Method
- read Fabled Fourth Graders of Aesop Elementary
- tested out some of our new seating options
- changed our "home base."
- learned about place value and value
201 will take the Reading MAPS test on Monday. We will take Math on Thursday.
