Today we....

  • discussed primary and secondary sources
  • created an Explorers Timeline (secondary)
  • began work on a personal timeline (primary)
  • read and discussed Traders in Time 
  • went to Gym
  • worked on the Chapter 11 Review and met in groups to go over some of the trickier problems
  • finished our Owen and Mzee brochures
  • finished the Animal Classification research
  • worked on personal esparks goals
  • worked on our Olympian Root Challenge
  • went to Gym
  • ate lunch
  • had recess
  • began reading a new book: The Wish Giver

Parents, have your child turned in the Chapter 10 Math corrections? Many have! Please log on to Think Central. If your child scored lower than 80%, corrections are assigned.  Please show the steps needed to arrive at the correct answer and write out explanations. This was due on Monday, but I will continue to accept corrections this week.

Volunteer Needed: I need some help this Friday morning. The job is mostly cutting and should only take about an hour or so. Let me know if you would like to come in. :-)


This evening at home......
  • study for tomorrow's math test!
  • in Science Fusion, read pages 151-158. This can count as tonight's reading. Log it.
  • create a "Fact Finder" graphic with based on this reading. The title is: Adaptations and Instincts. You must show facts/examples about both physical, behavioral adaptations and instincts.
