That's Some Hamster Tuesday

Hello Team 201 Families,

Today we.....

  • discussed how natural resources played a part in traditional Native American Dwellings.
  • awarded some Olympian Brag Tags
  • we used our map skills to plot the swellings of Native American tribes of the  Great Lakes Region.
  • went to Gym
  • ate a snack and finished up a Brain Pop  discussion on Weather
  • corrected last night's Go Math homework and worked with Quadrilaterals
  • read and discussed Maniac Magee.
  • discussed the Theme in Humphrey and picked out a mini project for the day
  • managed our time well and finished today's mini project.
  • went to lunch and recess
  • revisited our Weather theme, and talked more about how clouds are formed.
  • began a mini book of Weather Symbols

This evening at home....
  • read and get a signature. You should be reading for a minimum of 25 minutes each evening
  • complete the Go Math 10.4 hw
  • complete the double sided Science handout about How Clouds Form
  • take a look at this week's vocabulary words. Can you use them in context? I hope so!

Enjoy our friend, Bill Nye, and his take on Weather.
