Today was Lab day. We observed and dissected Astormeria flowers. Kids were able to identify reproductive parts, chlorophyll- filled leaves and stem structure. Tomorrow we will label and annotate to create colorful
infographics. What's an infographic? Use the root clues to figure it out! We also took a math test today. We will correct tomorrow. Have you noticed that we are skipping around a bit in math? Yesterday, we worked on perimeter and area. Today was all about customary measurement. Don't worry, we will cover these concepts in depth in the next few weeks. I want to make sure that we cover the entire 4th grade curriculum, and some of the 5th, before next week's MAP test.
