The Tree Man Tuesday

Today we began reading Wish 2: The Tree Man.  Kids spent some time discussing Polly's wish today.  Many kids agree that Polly's main problem before her wish is that she was unkind.  Some say that she was disrespectful and selfish. All agree that while she didn't get what she wished for, she did learn a lesson!  We will see how things turn out for calf-eyed Rowena in the next few days.

• This evening at home....
• Make sure that you are finished with page 110 in the Wish Giver. We read in class today.
• Complete the questions for The Wish Giver.  Please answer using complete sentences and use examples when able.
• Complete the homework for lesson 9.7 in Go Math

We are looking for parent volunteers who can help us cover our walls. Can you lend an hour or two to help the Pod on Friday? 

Tomorrow is Review Day in math. I think that we will be ready for the Chapter 9 test on Thursday.
