*learned more about the election process
*went to Library, where the students were able to complete research about the election
*converted our Angel Island research into 4 paragraphs
*played a multiplication game with cards
*created our first JAM ( Journal About Math) entry. Today's focus was "problem solving."
*used strategies like "solve a simpler problem," "make a model," "write an equation"
* discussed heat and how energy can be transferred
Tonight at home...
- complete the pages in the Science Text and highlight important phrases
- complete the math problem solving page
- finish your Angel Island paragraphs ( most kids finished in school)
- complete this week's menu activities. The words and menu are posted on edmodo.
